FPSB India’ Examination Policy for Physically disabled Candidates requiring assistance

In case candidates require special accommodation for appearing for FPSB Examinations, such candidates may inform FPSB India regarding the same. To get assistance, candidates requiring special accommodations are required to fill the form given below and submit to FPSB India at least 30 days in advance. Candidates may also attach a medical certificate mentioning disability (wherever applicable). Approval for special accommodation will be provided to the requesting candidate/s by FPSB India after assessing its need at its sole discretion.

Scribe Eligibility Criteria for FPSB India Examinations:

• The provision to avail Scribe support while appearing for FPSB Examinations is enabled only to those candidates who are unable to write the exam on their own (as per the “Guidelines for conducting written examination for persons with benchmark disabilities 2018” and the “Rights of persons with disabilities act, 2016”).
• The facility of availing a scribe is available only at Dex IT centres and not in remote proctored examinations taken online.
• The scribe should not have the same or higher educational qualification as the candidate. The scribe should only assist the candidate in writing and should not help the candidate in solving the examination questions.
• The scribe should not possess the same FPSB Credential as the candidate intends to pursue, to maintain the fairness and integrity of the examination.
• The scribe may belong to any discipline other than pursuing / qualified / completed graduation or higher qualification in financial planning/ Business Management / Finance / Securities Markets / Financial Markets.
• The scribe should not possess any professional qualification in finance/commerce and accountancy
• The scribe needs to be arranged by the candidate.
• Each eligible candidate is allowed only one scribe, and the same scribe must remain for the entire duration of the exam.
• The scribe must carry a valid government-issued photo ID and may be subject to verification at the exam centre.
• The scribe must follow all examination rules and must maintain confidentiality.
• Any malpractice or violation of examination rules will lead to disqualification and the appropriate disciplinary actions on both the candidate and the scribe.
